Tips

For YouTube titles, Title Case or Headline Case usually look more professional than ALL CAPS, which can read as shouting; save capitals for one or two key words. For file names and web addresses, slug-case avoids spaces and special characters that break links. Developers can paste a variable name in any format and switch it to camelCase or snake_case without retyping.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Title Case and Headline Case?

Title Case capitalizes every word. Headline Case follows common style guides by keeping short words (a, an, the, and, of, in, to…) lowercase unless they start the title.

How do I make a URL slug?

Press slug-case. Accents are removed, spaces and symbols become hyphens and everything is lowercase, e.g. “Best Phones 2026!” becomes best-phones-2026.

Does it work with Hindi or other languages?

Upper/lowercase only applies to scripts that have case (Latin, Greek, Cyrillic). Devanagari text is left unchanged.

Is there a length limit?

No practical limit; it handles long articles instantly.

Is my text stored?

No. Conversion happens in your browser.
