Tips

Building a channel or brand look? Pick three to five colors from your best-performing thumbnail or logo and reuse them everywhere: thumbnails, end screens, Instagram highlights and your website. Keep the HEX codes in a note, then paste them into Canva, CapCut or our Thumbnail Text Maker so every design stays consistent.

Frequently asked questions

How do I pick a color from a screenshot?

Take the screenshot, then paste or drop the saved image file here and click the area you want.

What is the difference between HEX and RGB?

They describe the same color. HEX (#FF5733) is common in web design and Canva; RGB (255, 87, 51) lists the red, green and blue values from 0 to 255.

Is the color accurate?

It reads the exact pixel value from the image. JPG compression can make neighboring pixels vary slightly, so click the center of a flat area for brand colors.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. Tap the image to pick a color; the hover preview is desktop-only.

Is my image uploaded?

No. The image is drawn onto a canvas in your browser.
