Your files stay on your device
All ToolBox tools process files locally in your browser. Images, videos, audio, PDFs and text you use with our tools are not uploaded to our servers, and we never see or store them.
What is loaded from third parties
To keep pages light, some open-source libraries are downloaded from public CDNs only when a tool needs them: cdn.jsdelivr.net (ffmpeg core, pdf-lib, PDF.js, JSZip, gif.js, qrcode-generator, heic2any, Tesseract OCR engine and language data, background-removal code) and staticimgly.com (the background-removal AI model). The Thumbnail Maker loads display fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). These providers receive standard request information such as your IP address and browser type, as with any website request. The YouTube Thumbnail Downloader loads public images from i.ytimg.com.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical data (such as IP address and request logs) to deliver and secure the site, under its own privacy policy.
Cookies, local storage and tracking
ToolBox does not set advertising or tracking cookies and does not use analytics at the time of writing. If this changes, this page will be updated first. A few preferences are kept only in your own browserβs local storage: your light/dark theme choice, the list of recently used tools, and drafts in the caption and word counters. They never leave your device, and clearing your browser data removes them. A service worker caches the siteβs own files so pages load faster and work offline.
Children
ToolBox is a general-audience utility site and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
